Project for the construction of a 60,000 m3 tank in the Majadahonda drinking water treatment station

- Description: Construction of a 60,000 m3 tank in the form of a prism of with an irregular hexagonal base, divided into two symmetrical and identical vessels separated by the valve chamber and the central aisle. It has inlet and outlet pipes connected to the existing tank through a gallery executed with screen of reinforced concrete and drain line. The cover is installed on a mesh of pillars and plates made out of prefabricated reinforced concrete. In its excavation 70,752 m3 of land and 12,960 m3 of embankment have been moved.
