The company Sando has completed work on the Medical Day Hospital, located in the Puerta del Mar University Hospital in Cadiz. The new facilities have a capacity for 25 patients (ten beds and 15 reclining chairs) and have four multi-purpose consulting rooms and support areas.
The Andalusian Regional Government’s Department of Health has announced the completion of construction work on the new Medical Day Hospital. According to the department iitself, this centre will provide an alternative to conventional hospitaliation and improve care for complex chronic patients.
The Puerta del Mar University Hospital’s new Day Hospital has a a reception area and waiting room; treatment and technical stations (where the 15 reclining chairs and ten beds are located); four multipurpose consultation rooms; nursing control and general services (clean utility room/pharmacy and soiled utililty room/storage/waste); linen room; lounge, changing room and toilets for workers, as well as separate toilets for the public and patients.
Sando has undertaken an extensive work to adapt the new Medical Day Hospital, in a space located in the hospital grounds. Specifically in the area outside the centre, which was previously used for administrative tasks, among others.
The construction company Sando, which specialises in the healthcare sector, has recently completed the comprehensive refurbishment of the Intensive Care Units and the new Surgical Block of the Children’s Hospital at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital.
