The group is committed to the housing sector and has experienced a growth of 110% in its volume of business. SIMA reinforces its tourist-residential offer in its eighth edition.
The great real estate show is underway. The Mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, and the general housing secretary, Javier Ramos, opened the doors of the Madrid Real Estate Show yesterday, which until next Saturday will serve as a platform to see the new opportunities for investment in the sector.
Among the most attractive novelties at the show is the presence of Sando. A construction company which over the last few years made a strong commitment to the real estate world and has now arrived at SIMA ready to take up the place that corresponds to it in the market. «Although Sando has over 40 years of experience, its real estate activity only started two and a half years ago. But, in spite of its youth, it has experienced extraordinary growth and proof of this is our presence at the fair this year», said the Managing Director of Sando Real Estate, José Luis Miró.
Not in vain, does the company have currently over 2,5 million square metres of buildings distributed around the country. «Without a doubt, the Costa del Sol and Malaga capital are one of our reference points and we currently have over a million square meters of land in the area that we are managing», assured Miró.
Tenth in the ranking
The 102 million euros in sales that Sando achieved last year represent a growth of 110 percent in its volume of business. A figure that situates it in tenth position in the ranking of the national market of construction companies. «Las expectations of real estate joined with over eight million metres of land being managed reflect the moment of health that we are enjoying. This is due to our capacity to find new solutions», added the Managing Director of Sando Real Estate.
The Madrid Real Estate Show, reinforces, once again, its commitment to second homes – represented in the Inmotur section of the show – by increasing by 63% its exhibition surface area compared to last year. «This circumstance is brought by there being more and more real estate promoters specialized in tourist residences in Spain» explained the director of SIMA, Eloy Bohúa.
The Costa del Sol is, together with the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Azahar, one of the zones that, currently registers the highest percentage of specialization in second homes in the real estate sector.
The director of SIMA, also wanted to highlight, the importance that would be acquired by international companies in this edition. “Their presence is more and more prominent, and on this occasion, 12 percent of the exhibitors at our show are from abroad. We are strongly committed to the internationalisation of the event and this is now specially noticeable,” he said.
In this way, the transnationalization of the show, together with the exhibition volume, make it possible for SIMA to «be among the most relevant real estate trade fairs held in the world» concludes Bohúa.
