50 years building the future through major projects

Our 50th birthday in 2024 is a milestone that allows us to review our history to design a roadmap for the next 50 years.

On our 50th anniversary, we have developed an audiovisual exhibition in which we extract some of the main projects we have carried out during our trajectory. These actions reflect how the company’s evolution has gone hand in hand with Spain, showing Sando’s contribution to the country’s development over the last 50 years.

Specifically, the audiovisual product focuses on vital aspects of development, including transport infrastructures: with the first motorways and dual carriageways, record-breaking high-speed line construction, or carrying out major maritime and Airport infrastructures in Madrid, Malaga, and Gran Canaria.

We also highlight some hydraulic infrastructures within the framework of solutions in theintegral water cycle hat have been fundamental national driving forces and are currently renewing their strategic role in the context of the water crisis, as well as sustainable buildings, with unique architectural projects and buildings that have become true regional landmarks.

In close collaboration with public administrations, we have developed environmental solutions for Roads, including cleaning services, MSW management or environmental works, and space reconfiguration to transform urban ecosystems andsmart cities.

Moreover, the company focuses on value creation through innovation and sustainability. Promoting R&D&I developments that offer solutions to today’s significant challenges, and adopting a proactive approach to contribute to the environment in which we operate. The audiovisual exhibition also includes some social projects launched by the Sando Fundación, the backbone of the Sando Group’s contribution to sustainable development.
