Althenia and Cáritas reach a partnership agreement to provide training to combat social exclusion

The project will provide skills and training to promote social integration
Cáritas and Althenia, a company of the Sando Group specialised in environmental projects, have reached a partnership agreement to provide training to ten unemployed women suffering from social and employment exclusion.

The apprenticeship program will take place in the Palma-Palmilla area, where Althenia is currently providing municipal groundskeeping and maintenance services. The experience will provide these ten women with new skills and motivation to discover and develop their own abilities. The goal is to provide them with the skills and confidence necessary to find employment and resolve personal and family issues.

The community action program with Cáritas was initiated in 2010, developing a program of social and workplace integration for unemployed women in the Palma-Palmilla district of Málaga. The initiative provides the women with a tutor for the coordination, orientation and oversight of program activities over a period of three months.
