The deputy mayor of the Malaga municipality of Vélez-Málaga, Jesús Pérez Atencia, and the councillor for the Environment, Antonio Ariza, have presented the new emergency cleaning plan which will be used for the 2021 summer campaign in the municipality until 15 September.
The presentation took place in Paseo de Andalucía in Vélez-Málaga and Paseo Marítimo in Torre del Mar, where the extra machinery was taken and where the new features of this year were detailed, including additional collections of furniture in the morning shift, pre-collection of containers and litter bins in the night shift and door-to-door selective collection.
Finally, the councillor for the Environment, Antonio Ariza, said, “I would like to appeal to all the residents of the town. If we all work together in managing household Waste, timetables for waste disposal and compliance with the cleanliness ordinance, we can have a cleaner municipality”.
Althenia, in addition to currently managing the cleaning and solid urban waste collection service in the town and collecting solid urban waste in the municipality, also manages the parks and gardens.
