Adif has awarded Althenia Sando the contract for cleaning services for its office buildings in Madrid. The total surface area of the facilities is 73,557.74 square metres, where Althenia Sando will provide cleaning services for offices, garages, archives, warehouses, Roads and urban development.
The sites where cleaning services will be provided are located in: Paseo del Rey, Sor Ángela de la Cruz, Méndez Álvaro, Chamartín Station-Avenida Pío XII, Chamartín Station-Agustín de Foxa Street, Avenida Ciudad de Barcelona-Atocha Station, and Recinto Delicias.
Specifically, the work consists of cleaning the interiors of office spaces and premises, general furniture, fixed or mobile equipment in the cleaning areas, or elements and equipment in toilets and changing rooms.
The contract also covers the cleaning of fire protection equipment, air conditioning, decorative elements of artistic value (paintings, carpets, tapestries), as well as cleaning the surfaces of staircases, cabins, lift and lift elements, elements of the building envelope, and interior and exterior landscaped areas.
In the execution of the contract, Althenia will implement techniques adapted to each surface, considering whether glass, humid areas, delicate surfaces or areas with hygrometric control (sensitive to changes in atmospheric humidity). In the latter, microfibre mops or similar items shall be used to reduce the variation in ambient humidity as far as possible.
