ANDEMOSA, the company specialising in the sustainable production of concrete from Sando Materiales, Andaluza de Morteros, has achieved the DCOR and DSOR quality labels following the Structural Code, which is a further step towards excellence in the sustainable production of construction materials.
DCOR is a quality label with a superior guarantee, officially recognised by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, which facilitates the acceptance of concrete on construction sites, significantly reducing the number of tests required. It also speeds up project management technical and documentary management, given the increase in quality, which implies a reduction in the safety coefficient in the calculations at the time of planning.
Obtaining the DCOR label allows certification of the AENOR Sustainable N mark,DSOR, as European Sustainability criteria are added to these requirements. This label is in line with Sando’s objective to contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
This sustainability certification is critical in the process of adaptation of manufacturers to the guidelines of European strategies in terms of sustainabilityand responds to the requirements for accessing european Next Generation funds.
Concretes with a superior guarantee
Concretes with an officially recognised quality mark, such as the DCOR and DSOR quality and sustainability marks obtained by ANDEMOSA, are products with a level of guarantee higher than the minimum required by the Structural Code. These concretes are characterised by rigorous control of the product in the factory, external verification with tests in accredited independent laboratories, audits and inspections of its facilities, raw materials and quality system.
In this respect, ANDEMOSA has obtained the DCOR and DSOR labels following the Structural Code approved by Royal Decree 470/2021 of 29 June. The Structural Code is the standard that establishes the technical specifications to be met by the products and execution processes included in its scope.
