The first training session in CSR will last three months and will take place at the head office of the EFE Agency in Andalusia
Sando Fundación and EFE Foundation have signed an agreement once again to encourage Journalist students to specialize in corporate social responsibility. Training will take place in the head office of the EFE Agency in Andalusia.
The first grant was announced in September, whilst the rest of the grants will be announced during the last few months of 2012. The grants are awarded to students in their last year of Journalism in the Communications and Media Faculty at Seville University. The training company will be responsible for carrying out the student selection process, whilst the follow-up process will be carried out by a committee comprising a mix of members from the EFE Foundation, Sando Fundación and the EFE Agency in Seville.
Both foundations believe that these grants have a threefold purpose. Firstly, the teaching and training aspect; secondly, its social aspect which will enable the beneficiaries to find work as a journalist more easily, once the training period is over, and lastly the informative aspect by promoting activities geared to corporate social responsibility in Andalusia.
Sando Fundación is a non-profit organization which is primarily dedicated to organising, sponsoring and collaborating in projects relating to occupational risk prevention, labour, social and cultural integration of marginalized groups through culture, sport and research.
