The award, granted by the College of Industrial Engineers and Technicians of Málaga, is one of the most prestigious in the sector
The Executive Committee of the College of Industrial Engineers and Technicians of Málaga agreed on April 20th to recognise the president of the Sando Group, José Luis Sánchez Domínguez, with the Gold Pendulum Award. The ceremony will take place Friday morning, coinciding with the celebration of the V Annual Industrial Engineers and Technicians Day, held at La Finca de la Concepción at 9:00 PM.
The Gold Pendulum for Business Excellence is the principle professional award granted by the College of Industrial Engineers and Technicians of Málaga, in recognition of Sando’s achievements and those of its founder over the last thirty-five years.

During the course of his long career, José Luis Sánchez Domínguez has received a number of awards. In 2009 he was inducted into the Academy of Social Sciences and the Environment of Andalucia and named the Honorary Consul of Andalucia in the Republic of Poland by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Sánchez Domínguez has also received with the Gold Medal of Merit by His Majesty Juan Carlos I and the 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst & Young, among others.
