The company will execute a motorway in Colombia with a budget of 31 million Euros.
Sando Construcciones has been adjudicated its first civil construction Project in South America. The company has been adjudicated the public tender for the construction of a motorway in Colombia.
This project, which marks the start of Sando’s expansion into South America, is based in the Colombian department of Santander, and will connect the towns of Bucaramanga and Barrancabermeja.
The new motorway will replace the existing road, belonging to the Instituto Nacional de Vías. The project is part of a hydroelectric construction project in Sogamoso, which includes the creation of a reservoir in the area.
This motorway infrastructure project, budgeted at 31 million Euros, passes through difficult mountainous terrain which will require the construction of six bridges.
