Sando Agua will be responsible for the execution of works to improve the state of the canals in the irrigation areas of Jaén. The objective is to implement a series of measures to improve the efficiency of water use for irrigation in the canals of the Confederación Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir in the province of Jaén. Among the actions carried out in these canals, it is worth highlighting the structural repair works of the sections that have lost their original section, the cracks that have been detected, or the installation of waterproofing materials. These works are aimed at reducing water leaks in the canals, in order to achieve greater efficiency in their management and combat water wastage. The canals in which Sando Agua is carrying out the work are: Sector III Canal, Upper Vegas Zone, Sector VI Canal, Upper Vegas Zone, Sector VII Canal, Upper Vega Zone, Sector VIII Canal, Upper Vegas Zone, Sector V Canal, Sub I, Middle Vegas Zone, Guadalmena Irrigation Zone, Central Hydroelectric Canal, Puente de la Cerrada, Central Hydroelectric Canal, Salto del Molino, and the Rumblar Irrigation Zone. Through these works, Sando Agua contributes to the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of hydraulic works of general interest, promoting savings of this resource and improving its final distribution and accessibility to the user.
