The Group of Companies has joined the European Union project to reduce the number of traffic accidents
The Sando Group of Companies has applied to become a member of the European Road Safety Charter, an initiative launched by the European Commission and whose aim it is to invite associations, research centres, companies and public authorities to develop concrete actions which help promote road safety.
Participation in this platform will allow Sando to apply new initiatives in order to increase road safety awareness by spreading the word and to learn of and share the experiences of other European institutions in line with its policy of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The company has promised to carry out a series of actions, as far as possible, to contribute to the common goal of reducing the death toll on the Roads. The Charter has more than 2,000 signatories and has published the measures which they intend to adopt on their own Website.
In conjunction with Sando’s Mutual Aid Prevention Service, being a member of this Charter will provide the opportunity to exchange statistics and information of a technical nature which in turn will help bring about a greater understanding of what causes accidents and injuries. It will allow them to assess how efficient preventative measures are, to help promote accident prevention through education and by adapting infrastructure in the work environment, among other issues.
By Sando and other companies joining the European Road Safety Charter, this will enable them to be able to continue spreading the culture of occupational risk prevention and allow them to contribute towards reducing the number of accidents.
Sando is an international company, based in Spain, Poland, Columbia and Morocco. It is one of the leading companies in the construction industry, most noted for having excellent technical skills, for being a sound, solvent company and its Sustainability.
