Sando Construcción is undertaking the comprehensive refurbishment of two buildings in the centre of Jerez de la Frontera to transform them into a four-star hotel. A Cajasol Foundation project located between Plaza del Arenal and Calle Lancería and at Calle Larga 54.
The works will adapt the spaces to the requirements of the four-star hotel, which will have a built surface area of 3,108.95 square metres. The hotel will have 48 rooms distributed in 44 double rooms and four junior suites, with two independent accesses, as well as the corresponding common areas and services.
bank office currently occupies the ground and first floors of the building, so the first phase of the intervention will consist of fitting out these areas and the transformation centre, with the aim of allowing the bank office to continue its activity. Subsequently, work will be carried out on the rest of the building, from the first floor up to the roofs.
According to the property, the IHG Hotels Resorts (IHG) group will operate the facilities as Hotel Indigo.
The execution of this project is carried out by the hospitality business line of Sando Construcción, a specific business area with professionals specialising in the development of hotel buildings and infrastructures that require a combination of design and functionality to adapt to the final needs of the end users of the facilities.
Other projects carried out in this line of business include the construction of the Hotel Vincci Molviedro in Seville, also for the Cajasol Foundation. This project involved the unification and interior refurbishment of several historic buildings in the central Plaza de Molviedro. A work of great technical complexity for which Sando Construcción deployed a team of resources and professionals specialised in singular buildings to preserve the cultural heritage of the buildings.
