A project to expand, modernise and equip the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Sando has carried it out for the Regional Government of Andalusia and has doubled the capacity of the ICUs at the Hospital de la Merced in Osuna. From its specialised area of healthcare infrastructures, Sando has implemented an avant-garde design. State-of-the-art technological equipment has also been installed, making it a benchmark for innovation in Spain.
The new ICU of the Osuna Health Management Area doubles its capacity to 16 boxes. This infrastructure is also resourced to deal with future pandemics. It has containment and isolation systems to guarantee everybody’s safety. And it allows for increased surgical activity and growth in the portfolio of services.
The surface area for electro-medical workshops and electro-medical and hospital equipment warehouses has also been increased, along with communal areas such as changing rooms, rest areas and professional offices.
