The Sando Fundación will once again collaborate with the Malaga International Jazz Festival, now in its 35th year. The event, which will take place between 4 and 10 November, will return to its format and quality level prior to the pandemic.
This year the 35th Malaga International Jazz Festival will have a line-up featuring Tigran Hamasyan, José James, Richard Bona with Alfredo Rodríguez and Tino di Geraldo. It also brings together two established American figures whose concerts last year had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus, Kyle Eastwood and Robin McKelle. The programme is completed with the Malaga saxophonist and composer Tete Leal and improvised music at the Teatro Cervantes.
As in recent festivals, these seven indoor concerts will be complemented by the open-air performances of Málagajazz. An initiative to take culture to the streets and bring jazz music to other corners of the city thanks to the collaboration of the hotel and restaurant associations.
The Sando Fundación has consolidated its commitment to the International Jazz Festival after a decade of unconditional support. This event represents an open window to the creativity and diversity of the genre that brings together figures already consolidated on stages all over the world together with great composers and instrumentalists from the national and local scene.
