The contract will be for two years and totals 3.38 million euros
Through the open bidding system, Sando is the company which has successfully landed the contract for General Maintenance, Cleaning and Repairs to the Drainage Network in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a municipality of Madrid. The quote came to 3.38 million euros exclusive of VAT.
The service contract awarded to Sando will be for a period of two years, lasting until August 2014. Within the general maintenance of pavements sector, the contract includes opening and closing of drainage holes, repairs to potholes and sections with subsidence, as well as construction and removal of architectural walls. Whilst in the drainage sector, new building work will be undertaken, as well as the renovation of old or broken elements, among other tasks.
The company will carry out two types of activities in Pozuelo: scheduled and unscheduled work. The first group of tasks forms part of the day-to-day upkeep of the town, whereas the second group of tasks will include special restoration projects requested by the local Council and which will be undertaken once a study has been approved.
