This initiative, promoted by the Malaga Confederation of Business Services (CEM) and the Regional Government, brings together 33 entities
The Sando group of companies has joined the Regional Forum for Socially Responsible companies, a project set up by Malaga Confederation of Business Services (CEM) and the Regional Government which aims to raise awareness as to the importance of implementing policies on Corporate Social Responsibility within their business framework.
Currently, this specialist business commission is made up of 33 companies from Malaga, all coming together and collaborating collectively in order to put forward proposals and specific projects. Another aim of the Forum is to pass over to society the role that companies play in social, financial and environmental development in the region.
Corporate Social Responsibility forms an active part of the Sando group of companies’ strategy plans. In this way, Malaga, the region where the company group was founded 40 years ago, has had a prevailing role with regard to the group’s social commitments. Sando, and the Foundation in particular, has supported and set up hundreds of social initiatives in Malaga.
The Regional Forum for Socially Responsible Companies is an opportunity for Sando to continue raising awareness with regard to the value of Corporate Social Responsibility, in order to generate new projects and commitments in conjunction with other companies and institutions more sensitized to this issue, and also to encourage other companies to join this forum so that they will be able to incorporate these maxims into their business practices.
