The total investment will reach 44 million euros for the construction of 486 homes
The operation was carried out jointly with the important Polish promoter Trust
The company continues to consolidate its presence in Eastern Europe through this purchase near Warsaw
Sando has consolidated its position in Poland through the purchase of new land for developing 486 homes in Lesznowola, a town on the outskirts of Warsaw. The total sum invested is 44 million euros.
Unlike the other operations executed by Sando in Poland, this transaction has been carried out in association with Trust, an important Polish promoter, which has purchased 50% of the land.
Trust has been operating in the construction and real estate development market since 1989, and to date has constructed 1,500 homes in Poznan and the surrounding area. This is its first operation in the Warsaw region.
The new land purchased by Sando is to the south of Warsaw, 15 kilometres from the airport. The 44,000 square metres of land for construction, representing 6 million euros, will make it possible to construct 486 multi-family apartments.
Sando is currently among the top ten construction firms in Spain. It first started operating in Poland in 2005 by opening an office for its Real Estate Division in Warsaw. Since then, including this new purchase, it has invested some 245 million euros in land and intends to increase this figure in forthcoming years to 685 million euros. Furthermore, the Sando Group Construction division has been operating in Poland since 2007.
Sando is currently marketing two promotions in Warsaw with excellent results: Sansara, in the Bemowo district, consisting of 386 homes and the latest one, Alanda Residence, in the prestigious Mokotów district, with 390 homes.
Sando’s important position in Poland is completed by another three projects in the Ochota, Wilanów and Mokotów (Chelmska street) districts in Warsaw, and a further two projects in the cities of Wroclaw and Poznan, with more than 6,500 homes planned.
Sando Group is an international business concern with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, Seville, Valencia and Warsaw. Its forecasted turnover for 2007 shows every sign of undergoing a new significant increase and is expected to each 1,000 million euros.
