Sando rewards clients who buy a home during the SIMed with a year´s free mortgage

The company will donate 0.7% of the sales made during the fair to the UNHCR.

The UNHCR’s goodwill ambassador, Jesús Vázquez, will receive the sum of the donation made by Sando.
Sando Real Estate will be present in the fourth edition of the Mediterranean Real Estate fair in Malaga as the event’s official sponsor. On this occasion they will award one year’s free mortgage to any client who buys or reserves a house during the days of the fair.

As it did during the Madrid Real Estate fair, Sando will continue to honour the commitment it made to the UNHCR (United nations high commissioner for refugees) and will donate 0.7% of the sales made during the duration of SIMed to the humanitarian project Radio Dadaab-Kenia. The Sando Fundación, the main vehicle through which the Sando group drives its corporate social responsibility actions, channels and manages this charitable gesture.

The UNHCR’s special collaborator Jesús Vázquez, will receive the symbolic cheque for the money raised from the revenue obtained in the two fairs at the Sando Real Estate stand. Jesús Vázquez will oversee UNHCR’s Radio Dadaab-Kenia campaign, for which he is the goodwill ambassador.

In this edition of SIMed, Sando Real Estate is the official sponsor of the event, a situation that consolidates it as one of the leading real estate developers in the country, well positioned in Eastern Europe and in the process of international expansion.

During the Mediterranean Real Estate Fair, Sando Real Estate will present a wide range of developments situated in some of the most sought after places in Andalucía. Specifically, it will reveal two new and unique projects: The Auditorium building situated at a premium location on the Paseo Marítimo in Málaga and the Calazul development in Rincón de la Victoria, with ample terraces and magnificent views, only fifteen minutes from the capital of the Costa del Sol.

Sando Real Estate is present in Andalucía, Catalonia, Levante and Madrid with a large number of residential, industrial and third party developments. Likewise, it has set up a branch in Poland, where it invested over 229 million Euros in land purchases, which will allow it to build 5,700 homes. At the present time, it is marketing two developments in the capital Warsaw. The Real Estate area has a portfolio containing more then 8 million square metres of land with building permission for the construction of 25,000 homes.

The Sando group reached a combined turnover of 759.5 million Euros over the course of 2006, a figure that represents an increase of 46%, when compared to the 519.6 million made the previous year. In 2007 it hopes to continue the process of growth that it has been going through in the course of the previous decade and reach 1,150 million Euros in sales. Sando, which is placed among the ten leading firms in the Spanish construction sector, has strongly backed the group’s Real Estate area, turning it into one of the country’s standard bearing companies.
