The company has increased its presence in Poland with Alanda Residence, a new residential project in the elegant district of Mokotów
Sando has commenced the marketing of its second residential project in Warsaw, Alanda Residence. This is an emblematic project for more than 390 homes, which reaffirms the Company’s intention to extend its presence in Poland.
Sando, one of the top ten company groups in the construction sector in Spain, started its activities in Poland back in 2005, by opening a Real Estate office in Warsaw. Since then it has made investments of 225 million euros in purchasing land, and plans to increase that figure to 685 million euros in forthcoming years. Furthermore, this same year, the Group’s Construction area started up its business activities.
The new promotion, Alanda Residence, is located in the prestigious district of Mokotów, specifically in Woronicza street, just a few minutes from the city centre and from the main communication networks.
The Alanda project is based on a modern, avant-garde design and has a total of 390 apartments of different types; studios and apartments with garages and lumber rooms, and from one to four bedrooms, and attics with large terraces. The complex also has private gardens and children’s play areas.
Last year, Sando sold the Sansara development, in the district of Bemowo, with excellent results. This project consists of 386 apartments that are laid out in six modern buildings, with seven and ten floors, respectively, and an innovative architectural design.
The important position of Sando in Poland is completed by another four projects in the districts of Ochota, Wilanów, Mokotów (Chelmska street) and Ursinów in Warsaw, and a fifth in the city of Wroclaw, specifically, in Rychtalska. Constant work is being done on all these projects.
Grupo Sando operates throughout all of Spain and has representative offices in: Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, Seville and Valencia. It also has an office in the Polish capital, Warsaw, and intends to start operating in other countries in Eastern Europe such as Hungary and Rumania, by year end. For this purpose, it will use the infrastructures it already has in Warsaw. Sando, which generated a turnover of 759.5 million euros in 2006, plans to increase this figure to 1,000 million euros in 2007.
