SIMED: Grupo Sando presents a wide range of property with big discounts

The company will make discounts of up to €12,000 for people who reserve their home during the show.
Madrid, 6th of June, 2006.- Sando Inmobiliaria attends the Mediterranean Property Show for the third year running with 14 developments in the province of Malaga on sale, in which 960 homes are being developed. They also have a proposal: a saving of up to €12,000 for customers who reserve their home on one of the developments, and do so at the stand itself.

At the show this year, held between the 14th and 18th of June, the property division of Grupo Sando will present its new development of offices and commercial premises on the Alameda Industrial Estate in Malaga, as well as a preview of its upcoming projects in Churriana, Alhaurin de la Torre and Mijas, with nearly 650 new homes and more than 55,000m2 of industrial floor space. During these days, industry professionals will have the opportunity to see the large-scale project which, through the participating company DUSE, Sando Inmobiliaria is developing in Seville. This project is a fundamental part of this city’s urban growth.

Sando Inmobiliaria participates in the Mediterranean Property Show with a stand of more than three hundred square metres, designed along clear and strong lines which will make it a translucent, comfortable, accessible space. A carefully thought-out structure that is perfectly adapted to the different activities that are to be carried out inside it, such as a virtual tour through Sando Inmobiliaria homes, thanks to the three-dimensional, interactive screens, or the information and cultural programmes that the radio station Onda Cero broadcasts from the stand from the first day. This year, Sando Inmobiliaria wants to reward all those who reserve their home during the days of the show with large discounts on four developments on the Costa del Sol, which range from €6,000 to €12,000.

The company attends SIMED after having made important purchases of land in Spain and Europe. Recently it has acquired 44,857 square metres of buildable land in Cartagena, Murcia, where it will invest more than €70 million and will develop 450 homes. This acquisition is added to that already made in the area at the end of 2005 with Nueva Condomina, which involved 55,700 square metres of buildable land. Also noteworthy is the purchase of 40,263 square metres of buildable land in Albolote, Granada.

At an international level, since it began its activity in the Eastern European market at the end of 2005, Sando Inmobiliaria Polska has carried out operations that will allow it to construct one thousand, two hundred homes in Poland, all of them located in Warsaw in the districts of Wilanow and Bielany. These projects will mean an investment of more than €57 million, of which €17 million are involved in land purchases. This property portfolio in Poland guarantees activity in this country for the next 5 years.

Furthermore, the property company is managing the imminent purchase of another plot in Warsaw that already has a licence for the building of 386 homes whose sale and construction will begin shortly, with an additional investment of €30 million.

Currently Sando Inmobiliaria manages a property portfolio of more than seven million square metres. With this, it will be possible to build more than two million square metres of floor space, a figure that will allow the creation of more than 19,000 new homes.

Grupo Sando’s turnover, consolidated as one of the top ten construction groups in Spain, grew in 2005 by 40% on the previous year, reaching a turnover of €520 million. The property area had special importance in this figure, since it made sales of €102.1 million, that is, 110% more than in 2004.
