The objective of the conference is to orient students regarding professional opportunities in the sector
This morning the Sando Fundación offered a conference on the various professional opportunities in the construction sector as part of a series of conferences for student orientation organised by the University of Malaga Destino UMA. A second conference will be held at 10 am tomorrow.
Under the title “the Professionalization of the Construction Sector”, the Sando Fundación has prepared two conferences to orient new students regarding the professional opportunities a company like Sando can offer in the construction sector.
As explained by Belén Ceballos, head of Professional Development at Sando, the sector encompasses up to a hundred different degrees: “in addition to civil engineers and architects, a construction company can include chemists, environmental engineers, publicists, economists and lawyers”.
During the conference, speakers outlined the different professional profiles and responsibilities available to graduates in different fields: “A graduate in business management can work in anything from administration to being the head of the treasury department or the managing director”.
Belén Ceballos later described the internship program organised in conjunction with the University of Malaga and other universities and institutes, taking questions from the students to resolve any doubts.
Tomorrow’s conference will take place at the University of Malaga sports centre where the Destino UMA events are being held. The talk will be held at the Marquee C at 10 am. Entrance is free.
