The Congress will be held at the Rectorate of the University of Malaga
The Sando Fundación is once again organising its National Construction Health and Safety Congress, the third event of this kind. The Congress will take place on February 2 at the Rectorate of the University of Malaga, with the participation of experts in the field of workplace risk prevention.
This year’s Congress will be centred on three areas: health and safety strategy in Andalucia; the interaction of international risk prevention standards and policies; and R&D in the management of Health and Safety documentation. Each of these areas will be addressed by individual speakers and round-table discussions.
The National Health and Safety Congress represents the evolution of its traditional Awards program for company professionals and associated companies to promote a culture of risk prevention in the workplace. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the creation of these awards and the Sando Fundación plans to expand its actions in the recognition of risk prevention.
This year, the Sando Fundación has created a microsite which will provide all information about the event, which will also be promoted through social networks.
At this time, the event is sponsored by the company Metadata with the additional participation of Cátedra de Prevención y Responsabilidad Social of Málaga University, EFE Foundation, El Mundo, Europa Press, La Opinión de Málaga, La Razón, Málaga Hoy, Onda Cero and Málaga University.
Within its strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Sando Fundación believes in the importance of these types of events even in current climate of economic hardship, raising awareness of the need to promote and expand a culture of risk prevention in the workplace.
