Through the Urban Planning Department, Seville City Council has awarded Sando the contract for the upkeep of public Roads in one of the two areas into which the city is divided. Sando will provide the maintenance service for the next three years with a total budget of 11.5 million euros.
As the consistory itself has indicated in a press release, this contract is the most significant volume of resources destined to improve roads and public spaces.
The main objectives of this contract awarded to Sando for the upkeep of public roads consist of the inspection, upkeep, repair, replacement, and improvement of all the elements that make up the paving and furnishings of roads for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The service covers immediate and urgent actions that may pose a risk. Moreover, it also contemplates extraordinary interventions arising from occasional events in Seville and planning of actions according to priorities determined by inspections or requests received.
