Conservation of dams in Granada
Service for the maintenance and conservation of the dams in the hydrographic demarcation of the Andalusian Mediterranean basins in the province of Granada.
The project for the conservation of dams in Granada covers work on dams and auxiliary installations belonging to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia, in the area of the Demarcación Hidrográfica de las Cuencas Mediterráneas Andaluzas in the Province of Granada.
The work that Sando Agua is carrying out at these facilities consists of maintenance and conservation work on elements such as: the valves and fittings housed in the facilities housed in the facilities, according to bottom and intermediate drains and at the outlet of the drainage pipe; the pumps for lifting water to collect seepage; the access roads to the dam; and the repair, maintenance and upkeep of sluice gates.
The conservation of dams in Granada also includes the maintenance and preservation of electrical installations, such as the dam’s transformer and part of the power line to the dam. As well as the maintenance of power generators or the supply of auscultation equipment.
By deploying these works, Sando Agua provides an essential service for the province, enabling efficiency in its management to ensure the distribution of quality water available to industries and urban populations.
