“La Cabaña” Materials Plant
“La Cabaña” Materials Plant
The La Cabaña materials plant facilities have an aggregate treatment, washing and classification plant that allows the extraction of 1,000 tonnes of natural gravel every hour and 605,000 tonnes per year. Total production processing is around 726,000 tonnes per year.
Its aggregate washing plant is a pioneer in Spain due to its processing capacity. Due to the integration of specialised machinery, this plant has managed to reuse 80% of the water used in aggregate washing, in line with the company’s commitment to responsible water resource management.
The facilities also include a crushing and grading plant that produces 500 cubic metres of siliceous aggregates per hour and 121,000 tonnes per year. Two concrete plants handle 160 cubic metres per hour, and an asphalt agglomerate plant generates some 200 tonnes per hour. This asphalt agglomerate plant has recently been modernised to reintroduce recycled pavement into the production process as a raw material, obtaining more sustainable and efficient agglomerates.
This plant has a Certificate of Conformity Factory Production Control under EN 12620:2002+A1:2008, EN 13043:2002, EN 13043:2002/AC:2004 and EN 13242:2002+A1:2007. Obtaining the European Community (EC) label, with the seal 0099/CPR/A60/0055.
The facilities are located at Finca la Cabaña s/n, 41300 San José de la Rinconada, Seville
