Laying of dual carriageway for access to Sanlúcar de Barrameda from Chipiona
Construction work on widening the old access road to Sanlúcar de Barrameda from Chipiona (C-441).
The widening of the access road to Sanlúcar de Barrameda from Chipiona will increase the capacity of the current road. In this sense, the roadway will be doubled, and a median at a different level will be incorporated to avoid encroachment into the oncoming lane. Conacon Sando builds the road from the Hospital Comarcal Virgen del Camino to the intersection with the A-2077 road (Munive). The road consists of two 6.5 metre carriageways, each physically separated by a one-metre-wide median It also incorporates 2.25 metre-wide car parks, a 2.5 metre-wide cycle lane on the left bank with a 0.5 metre buffer and pavements of more than two metres.
Pavements to improve safety
As part of the project to widen the access road to Sanlúcar de Barrameda from Chipiona, work will be carried out at the three crossroads with the most significant risk of accidents, where roundabouts will be built to facilitate turns. Pavements are planned to allow safe pedestrian traffic. In addition, the cycle lane will be located behind the in-line car parks to avoid accidents.
