Majadahonda DWTP
Project for the construction of a 60,000 m3 tank at the Majadahonda DWTP
This Majadahonda DWTP project focuses on constructing a 60,000 m3 tank shaped like a prism with an irregular hexagonal base, divided into two symmetrical and identical vessels separated by the valve chamber and the central corridor.
The Majadahonda DWTP has inlet and outlet pipes connected to the existing tank using a gallery built with a reinforced concrete screen and drainage pipe. The roof is laid on a mesh of pillars and prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs. In its excavation, 70,752 m3 of earth and 12,960 m3 of embankment have been moved.
