Extension of the Levante dock in Malaga

The Dique de Levante de Málaga is a project that allows the extension of the quay to adopt the configuration of a vertical dock. It comprises 30 caissons that occupy a length of 1.2 km. A mooring line of 800 m with a draught of 20 m is provided on the dockside. For the construction of the Malaga East Dock, 2,301,703 m3 of dredging in trenches, 614,815 tn of breakwater in layers, 1,130,113 m3 of all-in-one and 10,980,559 kg of steel reinforcement were used.
