Replacement of the wearing course on the A-497 road, section: km. 2+400 to 16+700
The main objective of the works contemplated in the project to replace the wearing course on the A-497 road is to restore road safety on the section by eliminating irregularities and renewing the existing road surface.This will correct the road surface deterioration in the sections included in the project.
The A-497 road is a high-capacity road of the Intercomarcal Network, which links the Huelva towns of Huelva capital and Punta Umbría, constituting one of the inter-urban connections within the metropolitan region of Huelva. The entire section has generalised road surface deterioration, with many surface cracking, peeling, superficial cracks and superficial crazing.
Among the actions carried out to repair this deterioration are: the milling of the top layer of the road surface, the spreading of a layer of bituminous mix; the installation of signalling, beaconing and defences, or the creation of road markings with acrylic paint marking the separation of lanes or on the axis and edge of the road.
