Seville Campus of Loyola University
Loyola University – Seville Campus (Phase 2)
The project consists of the second phase of extending the Seville Campus of the Loyola University of Dos Hermanas. This infrastructure is carried out by constructing a new building as a classroom with a capacity for some 3,000 students, with a built surface area of approximately 17,000 m2 and some 8,000 m2 of urban development area. The new lecture theatre not only consists of classrooms but also has different laboratories (chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, bromatology, biotechnology, biomechanics, physiology, histology and pathological anatomy, etc.), and a clinical area with consulting rooms and operating theatres, and a performing arts area including a performance room and a theatre.
Educational facilities
Sando uses specific materials and construction techniques to provide optimal conditions for students and teachers. Thus, executing this work includes activities such as the installation of a ventilated façade, technical flooring in computer classrooms, wooden flooring with black upholstery in the dance room, vinyl on the floors of some specific laboratories and linoleum on the theatre floor, acoustic panels; covering of corridors and skirting boards or fire doors in the outdoor classrooms.
Likewise, the materials and systems chosen for the extension of the Seville Campus of Loyola University Dos Hermanas take into account the highest standards of quality and safety to guarantee maximum hygiene and health conditions in the interior of the building and integrate criteria of environmental responsibility so as not to deteriorate the immediate surroundings.
