Contracting authority: Roads, Mobility and Innovation Area of the Tenerife Island Council.

This phase of the Tenerife Island Telecommunications Ring connects the main perimeter ring with all the municipalities of the island that already have a fibre optic ring running along the TF-1 and TF-5.

To this end, 128 kilometres of fibre optic cable are installed, of which 81.5 kilometres are located inside a newly created trench dug with a micro-trencher truck and threaded through a special telecommunications duct; the remainder is installed in existing ducts. Surveillance cameras, information panels, and signposting gates will also be installed during the work on the Tenerife Island Telecommunications Ring.
