Contracting authority: Compensation Board of the SUP R.2-9 “El Pozuelo” sector of the PGOU of Torremolinos, Malaga.
The El Pozuelo development project consists of constructing infrastructures to provide the sector with the roads and facilities necessary for its development.
The surface area of the plot is about 147,000 square metres, is elongated in a north-south direction, and is located parallel to the A-7 motorway with an approximate length of about 850 metres and a variable width with an average of about 170 metres.
The road network consists of a 920-metre-long main road, which connects with another existing road at the southern end, and an intermediate roundabout at the junction with another new road, which will connect with the eastern part of the plot and the northern roundabout at the intersection with the existing urban network.
On the road surface, which covers an area of some 17,300 square metres, urban development work is being carried out, including demolition, earth moving, trenching and paving work. As well as the installation of the infrastructures required by the residents of the urbanisation, such as sewage and rainwater drainage, drinking water and irrigation, electricity, telecommunications and lighting.
In addition, Sando will be responsible for gardening, installing street furniture and managing solid urban waste in the 60,000 square metre green spaces.
In all the work carried out at the El Pozuelo development, Sando integrates the highest standards of quality and sustainability to minimise the environmental impact of its operations and to promote more responsible solutions for the residents of the development in terms of energy efficiency and circular economy.
