The increase in personnel will occur principally in Andalucía, Madrid and Castilla y León
Althenia, a member of the Sando group specialised in environmental management services, will reinforce its maintenance, landscaping and Waste management services during the summer months by 43%.
With the increase in the local population in certain areas, rising temperatures and the need to cover employee vacation periods, Althenia has once again increased its staff levels in various regions of the country. A total of 116 people will be incorporated into the Althenia team in a range of positions.
Seasonal reinforcement will primarily be seen in Andalucía, Madrid and Castilla y León. In Andalucía, increases will be made to conservation staff for the gardens of the Rincón de la Victoria, the City of Málaga and the surrounding areas by 28%, 10% and 29% respectively. Furthermore, in Vélez, Málaga, there will be an increase of 59% in staff for maintenance and urban waste collection services.
In the Community of Madrid, staff levels for the tropical gardens in Atocha Station will see a 100% increase, while in the Municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón fourteen new positions will be created for Maintenance of green spaces, a rise of 41%.
Finally, in Castilla y León, Althenia provides maintenance services for the gardens of La Granja de San Ildefonso, Segovia, where staff levels will be increased by 100%.
These measures will enable Althenia to continue to guarantee the high quality of its services, adapting to the increased demand of the summer season, providing vacation time to its employees and creating 116 additional positions in the company.
