Grupo Vía, specialised in communications in the construction and real estate sector has recognised the international presence of Sando in Central Europe and awarded the company with the Vía Award for the Best Project in Emerging Markets.
Mr. Luis Sánchez Manzano, vice-president and CEO of Sando attended the awards ceremony last night in the presence of representatives of the principal companies of the sector. MR. Sánchez Manzano received the award and gave his thanks “to Sando’s magnificent team of professionals which has made this expansion possible”.
Sando is currently active in Central Europe, with headquarters in Warsaw. The company’s Construction and Real Estate divisions have consolidated their presence in the market, the former having undertaken civil construction projects while the latter is commercialising three promotions in Warsaw, with a further eight projects in development for the construction of 4,000 homes over the next five years.
SANDO is one of the leading companies in the Spanish construction sector, with projects throughout Spain and in Poland and Hungary. Sando consists of five divisions: Construction, the Environment, Concessions, Materials and Supplies and Real Estate. The company had a turnover of 1,036.3 million Euros in 2007, with assets totalling 333.4 million Euros and over 2,350 employees.
