The Sando Fundación participates in the National Paddle Tennis Open for the fifth consecutive year. Organised by the Association for the Promotion of Adapted Sport (IN Association), aims to promote the integration of people with disabilities into the social, cultural and sporting environment.
The Pineda paddle tennis courts have been the setting for the 5th National Wheelchair Padel Open. In the final, the winners were the Basque Edorta de Anta and the Valencian Cristopher Triviño. This event is the ninth of the Spanish Cup circuit and has brought together the best players on the national scene.
Fifth classified were Arturo Montes from Seville and Rubén de Diego from La Mancha. A good number of Andalusian players have also participated, such as Antonio Valero, Carlos Vizcaíno, Mimoum Laslaa, Javier Hurtado, Sara Ramírez, Mari Paz Jiménez and Jorge del Rosario.
For the Sando Fundación, sport is a unique framework for promoting and developing values. In this respect, it recently sponsored the project Futman Securities to instil in children and their immediate environment “healthy and positive virtues and skills, both on and off the pitch”. It has also been supporting women’s sports for years with the sponsorship of the Mairena Volley Club.
